Some women who used to take birth control pills won't get their period if they stop takeing the BCP. What about their pregnancy? Is it more difficult for them to get pregnant? Here is an example for this.
Question:
I and my Fiance have tried before I started taking birth control pills, but I didn't get pregnant. And so I thought since I don't get my period every month I should get on BCP so I can get my period every month. I've been on them since March.
We are going to the doctors either next month or January. But I wanted to see if anyone experienced this and what happened next? Anyone that doesn't get their period every month is it harder to conceive? And did the doctor prescribe pills?

Answer No.1
"A doctor prescribed birth-control pills so you could conceive? I've never heard of this. If I were you I would buy an ovulation test kit to determine if you are ovulating, and then have sex before and during those days. If you don't ovulate, I think fertility treatments might be in order."

"i suggest sex every other day...ovulation can be irregular just like periods..That will help increase ur chances, they do have meds other then birth control to help u to get ur periods or to help with ovulation... "

I know exactly your suffering. I don't get my periods if i'm not taking BCP. Anyways i eventually got prego 6 mnths after no BC. sadly it ended in miscarriage bcuz i took a shot to prevent cervical cancer(gardasil) before i even knew i was prego. but i went on BC again after MC since i didnt get AF for 4 MNTHS! i had no choice; we are currently TTC again so i stopped taking BC back in september! and so far i have gotten all 3 periods that were due! to my knowledge if u take BC for a few months it will regulate your periods for a while at that time you should TTC but dnt stress! i was giving up then BAM it happened. my point is Yes its hard but definetly worth it in the end..
